We are a dedicated team of teachers and change-makers who believe strategic opportunities offer a world of difference.

We began serving communities in rural Cambodia when Jeff, one of our founders, began planning a four-month volunteer assignment which began in January 2020. During this transformative trip, Jeff encountered basic academic needs that were not being fulfilled. This trip was extended indefinitely when COVID shut down all travel allowing him to stay in Cambodia. This spawned a new journey that led to the official formation of CamCOE in 2021. Our reach has expanded significantly and continues to mature with incredible projects you can take part in.

For example, CamCOE directly benefits a local language and technology school in Teavea Mean Chey Village and provides supplemental support to several public schools in Kampong Speu Province. We have secured land and local approval to build a community center and library which you can take part in now. Follow us on our Projects page to learn more.

Our mission is to provide resources that expand opportunities for students and families in rural Cambodia and to develop a community that is passionate about delivering this mission.
Whether it is a reassuring conversation, financial help, education, professional training, or simply the assurance that they are not alone, we will make sure that everyone gets support that meets them where they’re at as quickly as possible.
